WE DO THE
HEAVY LIFTING
Each window film has a unique set of purposes, qualities, characteristics and installation requirements. With so many choices on the market, it can be downright challenging to sift through pages of technical data and endless samples to determine the best fit for your project. With our experience and expertise, we will walk you through the most appropriate film options to best address your specific needs.
ENERGY
ANALYSIS

According to the Department of Energy, solar film has been determined to be an ideal solution for building owners to both increase energy efficiency and to improve tenant comfort while providing for quick installation with little to no distraction to daily business. This translates to significant cost savings to you.
We’ll run a detailed energy analysis on your project to determine potential savings. Armed with our ROI and lifecycle reports along with specific warranty information and available utility rebates, we provide you with the information you need to move your film project forward.
Rebates
Because window films lower energy bills, increase indoor comfort and reduce environmental impact, many utility companies offer rebates for film installation. Rebates are commonly determined according to the amount of electricity saved and will often effectively pay you back for half to ⅔ of the total cost of the improvement.
We will provide you with the documentation necessary to submit your rebate application.
Retail Tinting
As a store owner, it’s important to protect your merchandise while providing a clear, unobstructed view for street level customers. 3M’s Prestige Series tinting films are technologically advanced, allowing daylight in while rejecting 97% of the sun’s infrared heat and 99.9% of its destructive UV rays. In shades ranging from clear to medium tinted, you choose your preferred aesthetic while preserving merchandise and saving on energy costs.
Exterior Film
With recent technological advances and extended warranties, exterior solar film has emerged as a more popular choice amongst designers and architects. In contrast to interior applications, exterior films require less time to install and prove to be more effective in solar heat rejection thereby simultaneously achieving improved building aesthetics and increased energy efficiency.

HOW DOES SOLAR FILM
WORK?
Sunlight passing through untreated glass presents a few challenges. Glare creates problems viewing computer or TV screens and UV rays damage and shorten the useful lifespan of interior furnishings, wood, carpet and artwork. Additionally, hot or cold air that passes into a space accumulates and adds to the burden of hard-working HVAC systems.
3M window films filter 99.9% of fading UV rays and reject up 83% of the sun’s heat by causing it to bounce off of the glass and away from the building. During the summer, this can translate into one ton of air conditioning saved per 100 square feet of glass filmed.
During the winter months, warm air is retained reducing heating costs by up to 30%. With estimates that 34% of heating and cooling costs in a commercial building is due to inefficient windows alone, the application of film can show a return on investment in just two short years.
Window films not only provide immediate relief for existing HVAC systems, but may also delay or eliminate the need for future HVAC system replacement. If replacement is necessary, installed window films can reduce the size and capacity requirements needed, thereby reducing future investment and maintenance expenses.
